Spring is blooming and booming with beautiful fresh produce options rolling in daily. Here’s your update on what’s fresh, flavorful, and perfect for springtime menus!
CALIFORNIA CITRUS– We are continuing to receive great citrus options grown and harvested in California! Perfect seasonal fruit to use while we anxiously await our stone fruits.
GOLD NUGGET & KORI TANGERINES– Sweet, snackable, beautiful color
VALENCIA ORANGES– Just starting, need just a bit longer for peak juice and sweetness
BLOOD ORANGES– Still going strong! Rich color, full flavor
CARA CARA ORANGES– Final call!! A sweet finish to a great CA season
ENGLISH PEAS & FAVA BEANS– Freshly harvested from Iacopi Farms in Half Moon Bay. Don’t forget to check out their dried butter and cranberry beans too! Quality is top notch.
GREEN GARLIC– From our local favorites Knoll and Coke Farms—punch up your dishes with delectably fresh spring flavor!
BROCCOLINI AND CAULIFLOWER– Now coming in from CA fields—super fresh, high quality, and a great value right now.
WATSONVILLE BERRIES– Strawberries from Watsonville are thriving—sourced from Okiu, Coke, and Mellroc Farms. Raspberries and blackberries are looking and tasting GREAT. Blueberries are solid, but the other varieties are stealing the show.
CENTRAL VALLEY CORN– The Central Valley is kicking off corn season! White corn is here; yellow is coming soon. Brentwood will follow, typically available around June.
COMING SOON… CALIFORNIA MELONS- Keep an eye out for the first arrivals of Hami, Galia, and Golden Dew melons—perfectly sweet and refreshing for the warm days due ahead.
