Prices have been climbing up in recent days for all sizes of avocados. The Mexican supply is dwindling, and we will be transitioning to a California crop around the beginning of March. As usual, with a gap in supply, prices get driven up. In addition, supply for the upcoming California season is expected to be about 40 percent of last years yield. This means prices could remain higher than normal through the California summer season due to this limited supply. It sure has been a rough go this year and last for avocados!!
